I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Dynamics Mission Systems (Scottsdale, AZ) in Mar 2010
Interview
Met a recruiter at a university job fair. Did an initial phone screen, then they called back a couple weeks later and I flew out to their site. You go in and they explain things, then you interview 1:1 with three people. They ask little to no technical questions, it was the easiest interview I ever did.

Interview
The process typically begins with a phone interview lasting around 30–45 minutes, conducted by a recruiter or hiring manager, focusing on your background, experience, and motivation for applying.
Later rounds are often panel-style with both an engineer and a hiring manager — typically one hour long, with about 45 minutes of them asking questions and 15 minutes for you to ask questions.
