I didn't really experience the process as they sought me out. I initially was hires by Annie's Inc. and General Mills purchased the company. General Mills did restructure and interviewed me for the new role of CSF Coordinator.

Will you please stay and work for us as I did manage all of Annie's orders through their 3PL Warehouse already. They already new my value and wanted me to stay.
