General Motors (GM) Software Developer interview questions

Interview process was very straightforward. Process consisted of online hirevue interview/assessment (LC and STAR questions), phone screening, and technical round (around two hours). Entire process from application to offer took around two months.

Virtual screening interview with HR representative was simple. Reviewed submitted resume and asked a few targeted questions about specific items throughout. Technical interview was scheduled a week later. Lasted about an hour. 20 minutes of discussion on resume and history with a little extra background on the position itself. Remaining 40 minutes was all CodeLive exercises which I was largely left alone for. First section consisted of a coding problem, second section was multiple choice questions about various nuances of the language the coding problem was completed in.
