I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys
Interview
Went from a phone screening/scheduling into a lightly technical interview (questions about Java). Next, another phone call to schedule an interview and had a slightly more technical interview (programming quiz-- reverse a string). Finally ended with a panel meeting with the team. Pretty quick turnaround time, which I appreciated.
The recruiter assigned to me had repeated issues with mischeduling/forgetting about interviews, but overall everything worked out.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Reverse a string.
Java language questions (reserved words, typing questions, abstraction questions, etc.)
I was contacted by the interviewer by email. She got my email from my Linkedin. We had one interview and then three months after they replied me saying that they have reviewed my application and it will no longer be considered. It was a really nice interview though very conducive environment. It was more like a friend chat and that made me very relaxed and confident.
Straightforward, not too difficult. Feedback was pretty quick. The recruiter got back to me within a week or so. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. To be or not to be?
First round is a general call with recruiter, just chat about your experience and about the role.
Second is a 1hr semi technical interview with hiring manager. Goes over your CV, experience, stuff related to the role.
Third is a Technical take home test.
Fourth and final is a review of technical take home test with Hiring manager and senior devs.
