Had an easy online assessment, it was followed by recruiter call which lasted for 30 mins. Questions in recruiter call were on my visa status, current and past internships, why Gentex. After recruiter call , I had a call with hiring manager he asked me question about my work experiences and some behavioral questions such as where do you see yourself in 5 years. Then I was shortlisted for an onsite interview which was paid for by Gentex (including flight tickets, hotel and car rental). The onsite interview was 3 hour with 1 hour with each team. Each 1 hour round included 30 mins of discussion on previous work experience and 30 mins for solving a coding problem. Received rejection two days later despite the fact that my work experience matches the job description. Through out the interview they emphasised on the point that they are looking for someone that would fit well in the company and it mattered more than the technical skills.
