first round hr prescreening about 20mins, afer 1 week and second round HM interview 45 mins, resume and project, normal questions, nice interviewers, the hole process was smooth, no difficult quetions.

Question 1
background, why interested in the position, and project oriented.
It was a 30min phone interview. Mainly asked several questions about education background, and level of abilities that used for the position. Also there were questions about the understanding of the position
The HR representative assigned to my case was not very effective at communicating and sharing updates through the process. I had to constantly keep sending multiple emails to get a response from her.
Had multiple rounds of interviews starting with a coding round, followed by interviews with the hiring manager.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Geotab (Burnaby, BC) in Jul 2025
Interview
There are mainly three rounds in the interview process. First is with the Human Resource person. Second is with the technical lead or developer
(i.e. technical round) and last one will be with Hiring manager.
