I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview process was great because Gilead moved fast and got back to me immediately after I submitted my application. I first had an HR screening interview and that took about 30 minutes. I then had an interview with the manager and this was a lot harder because she asked me questions about being an intern and all about my experiences.
First round: Phone call with recruiter
Final round: Zoom interview with hiring manager of team. Asked standard behavioral questions, as well as about your thought process would tackle team-specific issues

Interview
Overall, the interview process was pretty standard at around 30 minutes and a few interviews with various team members. Not all of the team members were in the same team.
Very relaxed talking, and they're not asking very hard questions. Be prepared with your skills and future plans. It doesn't have to be too stressful. They are all very nice interviewers.
