Overall, for the PM interviews I would recommend preparing as if you were interviewing for Microsoft as opposed to GitHub due to the acquisition. For some context, as of Oct 2019 all the PMs that interviewed me had an average of 10-20 years of experience at MS and 0-1 years of experience at GitHub. Some as little as 2 months at GH. The interview process was a bit grueling in the sense that I went through about 8 phases before they decided I wasn't a good fit. But otherwise each individual phase was pretty pleasant. The folks there are all very nice. They include a D&I phase which I thought was great. But I didn't make it that far to be able to say what it's like unfortunately.
