I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GlobalFoundries (Malta, NY) in Jul 2012
Interview
Applied online at their website, got a phone call from the hiring manager, then was invited to Malta for an onsite interview. The onsite interview included a short tour, a lunch/presentation, and then 6 rounds of 30 minute individual interviews. The interviewers were hiring managers and senior level process engineers. Overall, it was a great experience! They let you know within a week if you got the job or not, which is when they have you sign the offer and fill out all that paper work.
