-receive a phone call from the hiring manager first, ask basic questions about my experience
-hiring manager scheduled an onsite interview within one week after the phone interview
-the interview last for 3 hours including 6 people with 0.5 hr each, questions were simple (PhD project) and the atmosphere was good
-the hiring manager told me the result would come out soon in the end of the interview

That is a friendly and comfortable talk.
A discussion about the future that the company/department would like to achieve and how my skill could be applied and help with the goal.
Introduction on environment and culture that the company and department practiced, its acceptable.
