I had appeared for a walk in. I was made to feel very comfortable and was taken care of by the HR personnel as I had just landed after a very long journey. After this I gave a written test consisting of logical ability, technical knowledge and general questions (would put that under personality maybe). There was a short HR interview after this. After a few days I had a phone interview which was completely technical. In a few days time I was told I had had been selected and was sent the offer letter. The HR was very flexible with my joining date, very realistic and adjusting.
