This job interview was very upsetting and very deceiving from the start. The job description makes it sound like an HR position that is supporting internal employee benefits but when I got there for my interview it was 100% sales, not even a base salary is offered. They showed me a power point presentation on the job itself which would be fine if they didn't basically lie on the job description to get people in there. It felt like a huge deception and waste of my time. I was specifically not looking for a sales position, that's why I applied for a benefits representative, not an outside sales rep. There are a few other reviews like this on here so if you are going to interview, especially for this position, beware, it is 100% sales.
They really need to adjust their job description and job title because most people would view this title and description as human resources, not sales. Even when you get in there and they are showing you their presentation, the title is a "general insurance agent" because you will be selling life insurance.
Overall this was just very disappointing as I wasted my time to drive to their office for a position that basically doesn't even exist. I think this is very unprofessional.
