I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Goodyear (Mayaguez, PR) in Oct 2018
Interview
Simple interview, it was more a conversation than a very serious interview more behavior questions than technicals. If the candidate uses the STAR method and answers with good examples, you are going to be fine.
Interview process was pretty straight forward. Was invited to interview a few days after applying. Single behavior interview. Note that it was an panel style interview. Heard back for my offer in a few days.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Goodyear
Interview
There was no clear guidance on the intention of the interview. The first interview only focus on salary and motivation to apply; then after about a week I got reply for second interview.
For second I thought they are going to ask technical and meaningful question; but they are circulating to things which are not really important, which I feel no added value. Worst part was, the hiring manager says they will contact me in the "future", yet after almost 2 months there are no news at all; I had to follow up with the HR to understand the situation.
To me, this is unprofessional; I mean, please make up your mind, if you want to hire or not. I understand that sometimes the process took long time; but you a person should already know what he/she wants.
Until now, I don't understand why I did not proceed further; perhaps I am over qualified for the position.
Don't waste your time guys, make sure you ask when you can expect feedback . Remember that if a company is employee oriented, they will treat you nicely even from hiring.
