I was asked a technical coding question over the phone and i had to solve it with an engineer. i think i answered the question correctly but still failed the interview.

the question was a modified dfs traversal of a graph
It was a good interview experience. The interviewer asked many follow-up questions, which showed they were interested in understanding my thought process. Questions were fair and relevant to the role.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Google (Raleigh, NC) in Nov 2024

The interview is for a s/w engineer early career role, I had 4 interviews in 1 day with 3 of them being coding interviws 45 min each and the last one was a behavioral interview
