I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2024
Interview
Overall, I went through 4 stages - 3 for the Ann Arbor, MI office and 1 for the New York office. There was a good mix of behavioral and hypothetical questions from Googlers who I wouldn't have necessarily worked with directly. One of my interviewers seemed disengaged so I struggled to build rapport and it also affected my confidence. Prior to that, I've done a lot of research and watched You Tube videos on Google interviews and answering in STAR method but I would say I still found the questions challenging. I think a key point is to think quickly and clearly.
