The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Grainger
Interview
Very unprofessional company. You think being so large they would have a standard recruiting team that is some what responsive. Was told multiple times that I would be followed up with and I was never responded to. I had waited 2 months for a response, and only found out that I was still in the "Interview stage" by looking on my application status on their website that was updated weeks after my initial invite interview.
I'd stay clear of this company, huge waste of time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Grainger (Chicago, IL) in May 2025
Interview
2 Phone screens, 1 Zoom call interview with the hiring manager and an associate manager, 1 in Person group interview with 4. Was not told who would be in the fourth interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to be stern with a customer.
Several 45 minute behavioral interviews with standard questions, STAR format answers. One 45 minute case interview focused on math and creating a recommendation for the company to implement. Interviewers were very nice and made it seem they actually cared to hear about you.

Everyone was welcoming and easy to talk to. Chatted with a few different people from different backgrounds within the company and learned a lot. Was informative and allowed me time to ask questions I had about the company and role.
