I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grand Canyon Education (Woodmere, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
I had three interviews, the initial interview was about 30 minutes long, the second 45 minutes and the final interview was an hour. We spoke about my experience and the expectations for the position. What I found troubling is that the information changed each time I asked a question. The position was originally supposed to be a remote position, then I was told otherwise. Then I was applying for the Queens location and was told last minute that I would be considered for the Long Island position. I was initially told that the training would take place in Arizona for 5 days and then I was told it would be two weeks in duration. What was interesting was that the requirements kept changing. I was then told that they were only hiring one person for the Long Island location, which was not what I was originally told. I had to prepare a PowerPoint presentation and went through all of the information during the last interview. They requested that I send all of my information which I believe will be used for their own purposes. While the experience was fine, I found it strange that they weren’t forthcoming with important information and seemed to say one thing and then tell you another. I expected this would happen because of the other reviews I’ve read, I must say they were quite accurate. I hope this helps any people looking to apply to any positions with this company. It took up quite a bit of my time, I’ll also add that they seemed to be very overwhelmed and kept changing the days and times of the first and second interview.

Applied directly on their website. Took over a month before they reached out to me. Then dates and times offered for possible interviews we really spread out over two weeks. Have patience.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grand Canyon Education (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2022
Interview
Harsh. The first encounter I had with the hiring manager was not great. She tried to say I did not live within driving distance of the territory I applied for because " she lived in the town nearby and 25 minutes is too far." I am not afraid of driving at all considering this is business development. In the second interview they asked me my highest level of education and years of work experience. They did not take the time to review my resume at all and that was extremely poor. Additionally, they asked me to change my vacation because they do not allow travel within the first 90 days of employment. They said they would not be able to move forward in the hiring process with me because I was unwilling to be flexible with my vacation. My vacation was my destination wedding. No they did not have that context but they discriminated me based on something that is none of their business. It was 4 working days they were unwilling to allow me to take off - unpaid. I thanked them for their time ( 5 minutes) but shared I have no interest in moving forward with their organization.
