Interview
It was fairly straightforward as far as accounting interviews go - phone screening, a morning interview process, complete with in-person interviews with the partners and education about the company and culture, a lunch, and an after-work social event. Keep in mind that each piece is part of the interview. Some people don't realize that and lose the job offer because of things said at the lunch or social events.

Mostly basic behavioral questions, but the second interview was all about one partner's upcoming presentation. Though, I got the feeling from discussing interview questions with others, that my experience was unique there.

Interview
I applied through the ACCA Employer website under the Penang branch.
The interview process took place on 8 January 2026 and consisted of three stages on the same day:
1) Filling up an application form
2) Completing an assessment
3) An interview with the Director, only 1 person involve
The interview was conducted in a casual and conversational manner. Questions mainly focused on self-introduction, reasons for leaving my previous job, and an explanation regarding a six-month career break. I was also given the opportunity to ask questions.
As of 19 January 2026, I have not yet received any update regarding the outcome.

Two 30 minute interviews back to back, very laid back conversation, they're just trying to see if you're personality is a good fit for the team. Heard back exacrly 48 hours after the interview
