Applied online and a recruiter reached out to connect via phone. From my call with the recruiter, I was then screened by a VP peer in the organization. I was then moved to an onsite with the CEO.
Greenhouse does recruiting right (following their own mission of their product!). Everyone was engaging, thoughtful, and prepared (they read my resume before coming to the meeting) - they were there to get to know me and assess my skillset, not just asking me a set of pre-determined questions. I also appreciated the fact that everyone had different questions making the experience feel personable and not standardized.
Ultimately I didn't have the depth of experience they were looking for - I was a bit bummed as the high reviews on culture are legit!
All companies need to model this process and experience!!!
