I had a very disappointing experience with Guidehouse’s recruiting process and feel it’s important to warn other candidates.
During the Christmas period, HR (Jonas) scheduled an initial HR call with me for a brief “getting to know each other” conversation. After that, he asked me to send my availability for the second week of January, which I did promptly. Then there was no response for a long time.
Later, he finally replied saying that someone from the Finance department (Lily) liked my resume and asked about my availability for the following week. I replied again with my available time slots immediately.
After that — silence for more than a week and a half.
Eventually, instead of any update or explanation, I received an automatic system rejection email.
This entire process showed a serious lack of professionalism and basic respect for candidates’ time. If the position was already closed or no longer available, a simple update would have been the minimum courtesy.
HR representatives like Jonas reflect the company culture. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend candidates to think carefully before investing time with this company.
