I applied to a role directly online. The interview process was long 1 phone screen, 1st round face to face, followed by 2 final interviews on different dates.
Since I went through the entire process and had traveled to both office locations I was hopeful to get an update on my candidacy. I had followed up twice with a recruiter and was told the role was on hold.
It has now been over 2 months and I have yet to hear anything back. I find it very unprofessional that Guidehouse does not value a candidate experience. I would have appreciated at least rejection letter or any type of communication on my candidacy.

Interview
I applied through an employee referral. The entire process took about seven weeks. I had a phone screen with HR, an in-person interview with a Director, and two Partner interviews over the phone. An offer was extended within a week of the last interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself? Would you be interested in contributing to business development efforts? Walk me through your resume. What about the job appears to be interesting to you? No case questions. All behavioral and cultural fit.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Guidehouse (Washington, DC) in Jul 2019
Interview
It was a highly unusual experience applying & interviewing at Guidehouse. I saw the position at LinkedIn and applied. Surprisingly instead of HR, the Hiring Manager reached out.
During the initial phone screening with the hiring manager and I got excited hearing about all the projects. It was average, going over all my experience and skills. In 2 weeks I was invited for in-person at the DC office. This time someone from HR called and set the meeting. Met two designers, the hiring manager, and some product people. It was all behavioral question about team management and process.
Afterward, they went radio silent. No response to any thank you note, no follow up, feedback and rejection from HR. I followed up after 3 weeks to HR to withdraw my candidacy out of courtesy since I was accepting another offer. No one bother to respond this time as well.
I find the entire process highly unprofessional.
