First, I had 1 hour video interview with the hiring manager - she was very engaged and positive. Went into great detail about the role and gave me a good understanding of role, however she didn't talk about pay or timeline and the conversation ended before I could ask. She talked about how much there was to be done - and I got the feeling that she never took time off because of how busy she was, which was a red flag to me. She moved me to the team interviews quickly - the next week I met with 3 team members for 30 mins each and they all asked very specific questions relating to different parts of the job. I answered the best I could but ultimately gathered that this role was way more intense than the hiring manager let on, and one interviewer kept reiterating the importance of following through and not over promising.. it felt to me he was hinting that the current manager was drowning and over promising on things and under delivering. I sent thank you notes and then didn't hear anything for two weeks. The hiring manager got back to me and said she was connecting with the team and to be patient while she gathered feedback. That was 2 months ago now. Obviously I didn't get the job, but have yet to be sent a rejection notice or a thank you for my time. I think I dodged a bullet - seems she's too busy to even send me an automated rejection notice.
