Five interviews…..Five interviews. Two with the Hiring Manager and two with people that didn’t make any sense as to why they were running interviews for this role. One was in the same role. Too much time to give. This isn’t NASA. I really liked this company too but it seems like their reorg is a MLM of sorts with so many levels but no clear leader. All but one of the interviewers have only worked at Gusto for only 6 months. These are the people choosing who may work their next? Beware.
During my interview the hiring manager had mentioned I would be meeting with the team. I never heard back from their internal recruiter after several emails I was told they extended an offer to someone else.

Interview
The first stage was a phone interview with current EA, followed by 4 hour onsite meeting with four different people. It took another two weeks to get back to me after the phone interview. The whole interview process was very well organized and thought-through.
