The interview with ezCater was an insightful experience, commencing with a thorough screening call with one of their recruiters. This initial discussion provided valuable insights into the company's culture and expectations. Subsequently, I had a Zoom call with the hiring manager, where the focus was on a specific project slated to be completed within three months. He seemed pretty stressed about this work being done. He was mainly interested in my proficiency in Figma and my ability to adapt quickly to finishing this project quickly. Following this, a Zoom call with a designer offered me the opportunity to delve deeper into the creative aspects of the role and understand the collaborative dynamics within the team. The highlight of the process was the portfolio presentation, where I had the privilege to showcase my work to a panel of stakeholders. Lastly, a meeting with the product manager and wrap- up with hiring manager where the project being completed in a short period of time was once again emphasized. Also questioning if I would be the right person for the job. There was apprehension so I figured there would be no offer.
