The interview was rather informal, this was probably due to the interview somehow being scheduled for a busy Saturday. I was asked some basic questions about teamwork and experience. A few minutes later the interviewer came out and told me that they were looking for someone with experience specifically in working the rotisserie ovens, a skill set of which I was unaware was necessary for this specific position due to the online job description being a generic deli listing. I didn't get the job but appreciated the straightforward honesty about the experience requirements.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at H E B (Austin, TX) in Feb 2025
Interview
in-person interview much easier than video interview. They just ask your experience with related the position you applied. How do you feel about HEB? Abd then, the manager showed me their Deli Department and met some staffs there.

Question 1
If a customer, asks you for a product and there is none in stock, what would you do?
Very simple and not any tough questions. Just let them know your availability. Don't stress a grocery store interview. The interview only took five minutes. I cant imagine anyone gets rejected from HEB.
