I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at H&M in Mar 2015
Interview
4 parts to the interview..
First of all there was a telephone interview, where i was asked about my experience and availability, followed by who my role model was.
Following this I was invited to a group interview; during this process there were three tasks. Firstly, we were split into teams, and we had to find items of clothing on a rail and race other teams in putting them back in their correct place. Secondly, once the teams had been swapped around, we were then taken through garment care (doing up zips, buttons, hanging them correctly) and had to race the opposite teams in completing a rail. Thirdly, we were given a page with a brief of a customer, and had to find an outfit to fit their needs.
Lastly, as a group we were asked various scenario based questions.

Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Brighton, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
