I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare (Denver, CO) in Feb 2021
Interview
Submitted application and was sent a personality assessment to complete. Completed personality assessment and received an automated rejection email within hours. I was very qualified for the job and having worked in the OD industry for 10+ years, using personality assessments to exclude candidates from a hiring process can at best be tricky and misleading and at worst illegal. The personality assessment being used was not a very good one - ipsative design which means scores cannot be normalized across a population to determine much of anything other than how you felt about yourself that particular day. They are also highly susceptible to discrimination based on protected class as these types of instruments tend to highlight socialized behaviors that occur in a specific gender, race, generation, etc. I hope whoever you hire for the position recommends you change this strategy. It’s not a good one and I can only imagine the number of qualified applicants you are overlooking in leadership positions because of this arbitrary approach that in no way reflects a persons ability to do the job.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HCA Healthcare in Sep 2023
Interview
Applied. The recruiter contacted mad and interviewed me. The AVP contacted me and interviewed me. There were a total of two interviews - phone and virtual. It happened relatively quickly.

Question 1
Typical canned questions from both the recruiter and AVP. My perception is they conduct "check box" interviews and are less interested in a candidate holistically.
