      Technical Support Specialist Interview

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HCSS in Apr 2013

      Interview

I have finished the online test, it was easy nothing tricky. I was arranged for a phone interview two days later. The phone interview was about 17 minutes long. I described my background. The HR was interested when I talked about I mentor people for public speaking skills. She asked several questions on how my background can related to the position. I think I was overqualified for this position, and I felt very well about the interview. But I got rejection letter next morning. I felt very bad with the result. I think that was because I am a international student needs sponsorship in the future, and HCSS can hire the American who won't cost that much.

Every single person in the interview process will make or break you getting an offer to work at HCSS. They say they collective make a decision in hiring. Take that with a grain of salt. The most tense part of this interview process will be the final interview with the executive team. Your final interview with the Vice President and CEO will be extremely intense and uncomfortable. Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HCSS (Houston, TX) in Sep 2020

      Interview

Initially, I was contacted by HR for an initial personality match assessment. After passing this, I was scheduled for a virtual interview via Zoom with three managers separately. Each manager was also a part of the Tech Support team and had their own questions. One of the interviews consisted of a logic puzzle where you would ask questions to determine the item the interviewer was thinking of inside of a supermarket. The next interviewer wanted to know what I knew about the company. The third interviewer asked me about my future goals and past work history.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Q: What item am I thinking of (this is the part where you play '20 questions', although you get less than 20 questions) Q: What do you know about the company? Q: What kinds of things do you do to keep up with current technology innovations?
