The process was pretty normal with regular questions. It went well, they seemed nice, and I was offered a position. The position was to relocate, but only offered me $3K higher than my current salary (and $7K under my asking salary). I sent an email to negotiate salary closer to my asking. The HR rep said they will look into it and get back to me. They never got back to me. I thought this was quite unprofessional, but I sent a follow up email in case something happened or someone was on holidays... this was also ignored. I ended up defaulting the offer since my timeline to accept timed out. I felt quite disrespected and I would've preferred a reply even if the answer was no. Overall I know this is a big company and it wouldn't be fair to judge it as a whole based on my experiences with a few employees, but for me this was not a great experience.
It started with some technical questions and then some questions about long term goals and how i can contribute to their projects. At the end they gave some info about their company and the engineers.
Really good and transparent. Good at answering questions and was very transparent. It just took a little bit of time to get results back (about 2 weeks). Good company culture and opportunities for young engineers
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HDR in Sep 2022
