I talked to them at a career fair and reached out afterwards, submitted an application and went thru 2 interview rounds with HR / Area Manager, then department managers and employees

why are you interested in hdr, what class work have you done, do you have any experience, what are you looking for in an internship, is there a particular area you're interested in and if so why
Overall, very professiona and conversational. There were lots of questions regarding skillsets, the previous jobs in the resume, school projects, the process of working, the starting date, etc. About an hour long, with a Q&A towards the end. It extended over the time period, also included a brief firm tour.
Great person very friendly and curious to my work very open and transparent about the company and what they expect from intern in architecture school bachelors level and the project types they were currently doing and planning on working on in the future

Interview
Lots of open-ended questions. Good balance of technical and leadership questions. Ample time for questions at the end. Would recommend applying in the future. Has a large variety of engineering positions.
