I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HSBC (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
back-to-back interviews, 2 for each round, two rounds in total. Started with CV questions, then fit questions (whys) and then technical questions focusing on valuation. Final round was tougher, more flexible, much broader, including school life, finance understanding in general etc. They were really trying to know the fit.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HSBC (Singapore) in Oct 2024
Interview
Assessments relating to the normal working abilities and knowledge of the desk and role. As well as many cognitive tests. Took hours of my life and ended up rejecting me. Pretty much a waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HSBC (Hong Kong) in Mar 2014
Interview
It was a phone interview, because I was studying in America. It took around 10 to 15 minutes, and the questions were not very hard. You had to think on your feet.
