HR reached out quick and prompt, but response once rejected was slow. Overall quite a good experience with fast turnaround between rounds and HR team was very responsive. Started with a phone interview, followed by a few rounds of in person interview. Questions asked were standard for the industry.

Explain your background and why you want to join the bank.
There are 4 Rounds interview in total including HR, Business and peers and Director. Prepare for DCF valuation models and business model analysis. Should be very familiar with financial reports and can explain the relationship.
I got a call from the external recruiter for screening call. I was surprised that the recruiter does not have basic knowledge of the phd programme which it is an educational degree. I was also surprised that they want to know if I have any planned holiday. I told her I plan to take holiday during Christmas and she doesn't know what is Christmas. Imagine getting rejected for the role by the people who do not have basic knowledge.
