I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hampton Inn by Hilton (Murfreesboro, TN) in Jun 2016
Interview
Don't be too obnoxious in asking to speak to a manager. They will get annoyed if you're pushy.
Just walk in, ask for an application, drop if off during a weekday morning and ask to introduce yourself. Don't keep asking.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hampton Inn by Hilton (Vincennes, IN) in Jul 2018
Interview
The interview went great and I got introduced to the GM and he was really nice. The lady that interviewed me seemed as if it was a really good job to work for.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Hampton Inn by Hilton (Boise, ID) in May 2016
Interview
Quick response, pleasant interview, great leaders who knew what they were looking for. They wanted to be sure I was okay with all night shifts. Then we also discussed pay in detail. I was previously making 10.25 for audit shifts at a lesser quality hotel and made it clear if they wanted me, they'd have to pay me at least 10.75/hr. I was supporting two people at the time on one income, so I needed the pay raise, and I wasn't going to leave what was a sure steady position if they weren't going to make it worth the stress of switching jobs. They gave me what I asked and called me back later the same day to offer me the position. Hiring paperwork the next day, and then I started the next night.

Question 1
Are you okay working only night shifts? Most people don't want to work this shift, and it can be hard to do full time.
