Interview
After applying, recruiter reached out to schedule 1 hour call with hiring manager. Hiring manager began with asking questions about myself and did not go over the job expectations and responsibilities. This led to some confusion on my part with exactly what this role would be responsible for. Interview went well and then I was moved forward into the process which was a panel interview in which I would be meeting 9 people including the recruiter for an intro chat and expectations on next steps after the panel interview. I did have a block available for this but I feel as though this could have been cut down a little to pertinent stakeholders. Each person I met had a different role at Handshake and asked different questions. After 3.25 hours, we finished the panel. Since there were other candidates in the pipeline, I only had to wait a few days for a response from the hiring manager about not moving forward with me but with another candidate. I enjoyed talking to the panel but this was understandable.
