Interview
The interview process does take sometime, I called the following Monday after putting my application in. It took three tries, but all it takes is patience and persistence. Most employers will handle internal applications, before external. Once you've gone through the interview they run your background. They do not drug test, they look up further history on your file. Which can sometimes take up to a week. They email you, or you can call them, depending on what HR wants, and they will put you through to the next steps of orientation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions are easy, very basic. They ask you if you've unloaded truck, handled a cash register, customer care, planograms, audits, returns, recovery, and replenishment. They ask you if you're willing to cross train (handle and cover other positions even outside of your description, for back up.) Nothing too hard. They ask you to describe yourself as well. "What's the worst customer you've had," "What's the above and beyond thing you've done for a customer," they'll usually ask you about your background with customer service.

Interview
I applied for a part time position, and within a week the store manager called me to discuss the position. She was very professional and also laid back enough to have a real conversation, not a scripted checklist. We were able to work around my full time job schedule and asked to meet me in person. The face to face interview also included the supervisor for the department I was applying for. Again they presented themselves as very knowledgeable and talked TO me not AT me, no pretentious attitudes at all. I was shown around the store and warehouse getting information along the way about processes and “day in the life of”. At the end of the interview I was told when I would hear back from them and they called on the promised day. I was hired and in my first month of employment, so far very happy.
We are very delighted to hear about your positive experience. We hope you are as excited as we are to begin your Harbor Freight journey. Thank you for taking the time to meet with our hiring managers and congratulations on joining the team!

Interview
Interview was brief and they were straightforward with what was required for my position. Also explained what my daily tasks would be and showed me the store in its entirety because I would have to know where most things are being a logistics associate.
