We're sorry to hear that you had a negative experience during your interview. The product & company we're building demands that we do a deep dive with the engineers interviewing at Harness for both process and cultural fit. It's true that we ask some difficult questions and give hard assignments during the process--it's important we find precisely the right fit (which in some cases, means passing on very smart, capable people). Not being asked back doesn't mean you aren't a great engineer, just that we're seeking a very specific candidate for that particular role. It's also true, unfortunately, that due to the volume of interviews we do weekly, we're not always able to provide specific feedback. We wish you all the best!
