I just had one interview with the laboratory Scientist. It went well, interview was very smooth and easy. But at the end of the day they have selected someone. I think experience and well explaining about yourself and your skills would do.

Interview
It was fairly standard, a virtual meeting was scheduled and I was asked to introduce myself and my research after which he told me a bit about his own. There were no oddball questions or particularly difficult ones.
Submitted application and was invited for an interview the next day. One video call interview, more like a conversation with two members of the lab. Both were very friendly and interview was enjoyable.

Pretty simple interview process; you meet a PI, find a grad student, and then decide on hours and if there are projects you'd be a good fit to work on.
