I was interviewed at HPE recently for technical architect role. The first round was a telephonic interview with questions related Java, Web Services etc., After the first round i was asked what CTC i would settle for if i clear the next F2F round. It was truly unprofessional to ask such a question when i had already mentioned my expected CTC to the HR before the interview process started. Post that i never got any call or any reply to my mails.
