I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hill's Pet Nutrition (Fayetteville, AR) in Sep 2013
Interview
Received call for phone interview two months after applying online. Second interview was two weeks later with district manager, HR person, and upper lvl executive. Typical S.T.A.R interview questions. Said they would make a decision after two weeks. Received call after 15 days that they were not going forward with the process.

Question 1
Typical behavioral and situational type questions. Were big on relationship selling.
I interviewed at Hill's Pet Nutrition (Fresno, CA)
Interview
The interview process focused heavily on relationship-building, data-driven decision-making, and examples of working cross-functionally. Behavioral questions were all STAR-based, and they wanted strong proof of territory ownership, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving.
STAR format was used for interview. To keep things simple for them and for you, I would consider responding with, "The situation was... The task was...", etc. The interviewers had to take notes and it's way easier for them to do so if you tell them what each letter of the acronym applied vs them having to take in all that you said and make it fit onto their notes.

Interview
Considered application with no sales experience coming out of college, positive interview process and good description of role expectations. Unforutantely, I was limited on where I could relocate at the time.
