I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hinge (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied on Aug 19 2020. Got an email on September 2 telling me that they would like to proceed forward and to arrange a time on the calendar. I sent them my availability. Then they replied back telling me to input my availability on a calendar link (they did not provided this link on the email). I wrote back to them telling them that they did not provide a calendar link. I got a reply back from recruiter who cc 2 more recruiters to take care of that and arrange an interview. Never got any email from ANY of the 3 recruiter. Shame on them...very unprofessional and disrespectful. I wasn't expecting this behavior from such a company. Glad they showed their colors, I won't ever apply to them

Interview
Thoughtful interview process where I had the opportunity to meet many members of team. It feels like Hinge puts in just as much work as the interviewee, while you're together working to see if it's a good fit. They put a lot of emphasis on culture while also assessing technical skills. The process took 2+ months for me, but part of that was scheduling on my end. Started with a call with the recruiter, then HM, take home assignment, 90 pair programming interview, and culture interview. Considerate and timely communication along the way.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hinge (New York, NY) in Sep 2014
Interview
I had a phone screen with the VP of Engineering. I was given a homework assignment and was told to bring that in for a full afternoon of interviews. I met with five people from product and engineering during that process. I met with the CEO for lunch before receiving an offer.
* Note - As a current employee, I can say the interview process is slightly different now. We have moved towards (and continue to iterate on) a more concise approach with a quicker turnaround for the interviewee.
