The screening interview was quick and straightforward, describing my past experience and salary expectations. We scheduled the first interview on this call as well. The first interview was canceled at the last minute. I logged on to the call early and waited about 10-15 minutes before seeing that the recruiter sent a text 3 minutes into the interview time. He said the hiring manager had something urgent pop up and needed to reschedule. I understand things happen, but I was disappointed that there couldn't have been a little more advanced notice as I had hired childcare for the interview. I wasn't contacted until I was already on the call waiting. The interview was rescheduled for the following week. I thought it went great, and at the end of the call, the hiring manager verbally confirmed I would be in the top 3 candidates to move on to the second round of interviews. After a week had passed, I got an automated rejection email - no additional interview was scheduled and they selected another candidate. Poor experience overall.
