I interviewed for the Hiring Associate role and completed two interview rounds, including a final panel interview that required a take home simulation and live presentation. I spent a meaningful amount of time preparing and walking the panel through my hiring approach.
The interviewers were professional, and the role itself seemed interesting. However, the post-interview communication was disappointing. After the final round, I did not receive a status update for over a week. I followed up and was told someone would reach out, but I never received a response.
I understand that hiring timelines can shift and that not every candidate will be selected. That said, after asking candidates to complete a simulation and present in a panel setting, timely communication and closure are important to creating a respectful candidate experience.
Overall, the role and team seemed promising, but the lack of follow-up after the final interview negatively impacted my experience.
