I would like to layout exactly what this company hires for so it is clear for any person that is thinking about working for the company. First off, everyone I met at Horizon Innovations was nice, outgoing, and very personable. The company has awesome incentives such as travel opportunities and they do a weekly night out. I made it through the 2nd interview and was offered a job. However, I turned down the opportunity.
It is door to door selling. I was not aware of that because their website, facebook, and company reviews never mentioned it. Even during the interview process, I had to ask very specific questions and did not find out until the end of the interview.
They work for AT&T U-verse. They sell at peoples homes that currently have some sort of AT&T service. They do not call before they just show up.
Although, I was not told upfront about the door to door selling, they were open and honest about everything else.
Hours: Monday-Friday from 11am-8pm. And Saturdays 10-5. So it is a 6 day a week job. Even if you have move up in positions.
Pay: 100% commission. based on the amount of subscriptions you sell to people
Account Executive: 2-4 weeks until promotion : $400-$600 per week
Corporate Trainer: 6-9 months until promotion: $700-1000 per week
and you can keep moving up the ladder.
