Interviewed in London (Angel) Three rounds of interviews.
First round was a phone call with HR for around 15 minutes. Asked screener type questions about my background, motivations and salary expectation and was told on the phone they would be recommending me for the next round of interviews. Emailed with 5 working days to arrange the face to face interview.
Second round (approx a week after the email) with manager in person for 45minutes. Felt informal with time to learn about the company and team structure and shared information about background relevant to the role and motivations. 10 minutes at the end to ask questions. Room availability is limited so when the 45minutes was up needed to leave - unable to go over time.
Heard back about the interview in 7 working days and was invited for a third round of face to face interviews.
There were 3 interviews, 45 minutes each back to back followed by a 20 minute round up at the end by the research manager. The interviews were competency based each focussing on different questions depending on the background specialism of the interviewer (Product team, Research team, Design team). The interviewers were engaging and asked interesting questions, each left around 10 minutes for me to ask questions.
There was no break between the interviews with each interviewer introducing the next.
I was told at the end of the interviews that they had now finished interviewing, they would be making a decision shortly and HR would be in touch.
Heard nothing from HR for 9 working days so contacted them to enquire and received a response about delays interviewing other candidates and that they would be making a decision in the next week.
5 working days later received a job rejection email.
Overall process from initial phone interview to rejection was 35 days
