I interviewed for a role in the Office of Communications and it was by far the worst interview experience I have ever had. If the disorganization of the interview process is any reflection of how the department is being run, then you should run and not walk away from working in this department. Interviews were rushed and poorly scheduled. In addition, because of the poor scheduling, you had to wait for extended periods of time and see others coming in and out. I do not recommend this department. Absolutely no consideration for the applicants in the process at all. I know that the job market is tough. But, employers should consider at least attempting to make the applicant want to work for the company. This interview was entirely set up for the benefit of HISD. Applicants don't matter. This one was a hard pass for me.
