Had an informal conversation with the hiring manager online, followed by a face-to-face with the hiring manager and head of department. Both interviews seemed to go well, not too much structure but a good conversation. However I never received any feedback whatsoever. I appreciate I may have not been the right candidate for them, and in hindsight the role wasn't right for me, but it's incredibly unprofessional to receive no correspondence, successful or otherwise after a final stage. No feedback at all - no holding email, no phone call, not even an automated rejection from the ATS. It's now been around 3 months. In this current market, the candidate experience is incredibly important, and working in the field of recruitment and attraction myself I understand it more than most, and would be very disappointed if any of my recruiters treated candidates in this way. This has left me with a negative feeling about the company, and I would not recommend anyone apply due to the experience I received. They have a lot of work to do.
