I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
Applied online; two days later I received an email requesting to schedule a phone interview. Initial phone call was with a recruiter covering general "behavioral" questions. At the end of the phone interview, she let me know the next step would be to have a call with my potential supervisor. We spoke a few days later - a very casual conversation. The next week I was invited to come interview at the office. I met with 4 different people (including said potential supervisor), each for 45+ minutes, and received a tour from the recruiting coordinator. Each person started out with the same questions - tell me about yourself, why HubSpot, etc. - but all veered into different conversations depending on how we would work together. Some even moved into brainstorming about current challenges the team is facing. It was a long day, and the conversations with thought-provoking, but not necessarily "hard." Exactly one week later I received a phone call with the job offer. Overall the process took 4 weeks, and was very efficient and transparent!

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in Dec 2010
Interview
The team did a great job accessing technical and problem solving skills. The questions were a little vague giving me the opportunity to ask questions prior to diving in to solve the problem.
