By far the most disorganized interview process I've ever participated in. I was contacted in late February. I had two phone screens with the recruiter with the second scheduled a week after the first. While redundant, I enjoyed my conversations with her. A few weeks go by and I have an interview scheduled with the director, team member and VP. The day of the interview, I learn that only the director would be present as the other 2 parties had conflicts. I was rescheduled with the potential team member that Friday of the same week. The recruiter reached out to me afterwards with positive feedback but asked why my camera was off. I had no idea it was off and had the interviewer made mention, that could have been resolved. I would later learn in other interviews that It's an issue with MS Teams where your camera will show that it's on but you may still not be visible. Once you toggle the camera on and off, it should resolve the issue. After that interview in early April, I never heard back about next steps. After securing 3 offers from different companies in the 4 weeks that passed during my last interview with Hubbell, I withdrew my application. It amazes me how unprofessional this process was with the failure to consider the time and accommodation an interviewee put forth towards candidacy as well as ghosting a candidate who is farther into the interview process.
