I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Apr 2023
Interview
Quick and transparent interview with process that as well described. Questions were fair and concise according to the expectations.
Feedback was not the quickest but normal for such type of orocesses
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Kraków) in Nov 2024
Interview
The process was 3 interviews in total, one with the hiring manager, another with the Software Engineering manager and final one with a peer Senior Product Manager.
I had a bad experience of not being even notified when the interviews were going to be scheduled, I needed to by myself and other interactions with other recruiters at IBM find who was assigned for this position and ask to schedule the interviews as my application appeared in “Interviews” stage but no one had reached me out before I did.
After the interviews were done, a time of 4 weeks passed and I didn’t have any feedback, status update nor reason of why I wasn’t selected rather than just the automated email that I was not participating anymore, which I found it very unprofessional keeping in mind I was actively asking for any status.
Even if I wouldn’t be the selected person that’s fine but at least explain the reasons so an individual can improve for any other future opportunity.
Communication with the recruiter was very poor and inconsistent, hence my really bad experience on the process for this role.
