I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at IGEL (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
The interview process was a mess from start to finish. I had both an external recruiter and an internal recruiter involved, yet neither seemed to communicate with the other. The process was never clearly explained to me, even after I asked multiple times what to expect moving forward.
At one point, a second interview with the same person (hiring manager) was scheduled, but I never confirmed it. That was the final red flag for me. The lack of organization and coordination made the company appear a little too chaotic and disrespectful of candidates’ time for me.
Interviews are a two-way street; candidates are interviewing companies just as much as companies are interviewing candidates. With the hiring process being this disorganized, it makes me question what working there would actually be like.
